Feeling ‘Nasty,’ Janet Jackson cancels show

Pop star Janet Jackson has cancelled a Montreal show due to health problems, the promoter said Tuesday.

Jackson, 42, called off her performance late Monday at the Centre Bell, and will reschedule to a later date, show promoters Gillett said in a statement.

The singer will be back in Montreal soon and will not disappoint fans, the promoter added without giving a date for a new show.

US and Canadian media reported that the pop star, baby sister of pop icon Michael Jackson, was rushed hospital “for health reasons” just before she was to go on stage.

Montreal newspapers said fans, some of whom had travelled from afar, had already started filling the downtown arena for the show.

Last week, Jackson cancelled a Detroit show citing “production constraints”.
